Alongside a few film clips, Auditions From Beyond contains the screen tests of a few girls who made it and a few who did not; it's amazing to see how many Eastern European ladies with little grasp of the English language come in seeking parts. Of course, the producers clearly do not place acting ability and dialogue at the top of their list of requirements. The body check is so important that the guys sometimes just skip the reading and go straight to the ... dancing part of the tryout. Jacqueline Lovell certainly makes an impression on the producers, but the most memorable and unusual screen test definitely goes to Nikki Fritz, earning her inclusion in two of the film clips interspersed throughout this tape. Having been impressed by Vanesa Taylor's performance in Femalien, I was hoping to see some new material from her included here, but she only appears in a film clip from the aforementioned movie. If you've seen several of Surrender Cinema's movies (including Femalien and Virtual Encounters), you can safely pass this item by because the only original content you will find here are several humorous but far from mesmerizing auditions from relative unknowns.
