(More customer reviews)If you are a dedicated fan of this series and have not seen season 6, be ready for a bombshell ending. Listen very closely to what is said in the last line of the last episode of the season. (No spoilers, watch for your self!)
The show has truly hit its stride in this season and the writing is at its best. The physical humor of Rob Wells is hilarious and the female characters are finally a little more realistic.
The series is known for weaving together arcing storylines through an entire season, as well as within each episode, and director Clattenberg and the writing team have surpassed any previous season.
Depending on your point of view, the relative happy ending for all of the characters involved in this season is either a ludicrous proposition or utterly charming.
What else can I say? Season 6 is filled with hilarious and memorable dialogue and all the references to dope and guns you expect. This is a classic piece of television.

(More customer reviews)I had heard a lot about this series from my sister. Skeptical, I gave season 1 a shot and found it funny enough to keep going. I'm glad I did. Once I had grown to understand the characters better (about mid-way through season 2), I was hooked. Each season has its best moments, but all of them are based in character and situation -- the perfect blend of comedy. This is not a show for everyone, but if you laugh at shows like The Office or Curb Your Enthusiasm, then you will not be sorry for devoting yourself to the adventures of Julian, Ricky, and one of the best characters ever created: Bubbles.

It's so much better a comedy than anything I've seen. We don't get any Canadian TV where I am. Thank heavens for DVD's!
I own a pair of Ricky pants!! ha! who knew!

TRAILER PARK BOYS - SEASON 7 (2008) Review

(More customer reviews)The 7th and possibly final season of Trailer Park Boys has some bizarre moments that top anything that has come before. The presence of Sebastian Bach alone signals hilarious trouble. The loss of Trevor and Cory is handled well enough (Twiggy Alien Cory does an admirable job, but it's Philadelphia Collins that really creates some laughs with his huge belly and love of greasy burgers).
Bubbles loses his mind bit by bit and some episodes end with great "what the heck??!!" moments. All in all, it's a shame this could be the end of the show, but only because they were still capable of creating consistently funny episodes leading to a great closing episode.
