(More customer reviews)We were very disappointed with this Bob the Builder dvd. My children love Bob the Builder and own every video. We were excited to hear that a new one was coming out soon (especially on Dvd). However, it is not new! Every episode on this dvd is on the other videos (or has been on the Nick Jr. show at least 6 months ago). I would have never thought they would release a new dvd/video without any new episodes. If this is your first Bob the Builder dvd/video, then I would recommend it. If you own many others, then don't bother getting this one because you have already seen it.

(More customer reviews)My 4 year old loved seeing the new episodes on this DVD. New characters (Trix, Molly) were a nice surprise.
A couple complaints though: Default language on the DVD is French! Each time we play it we have to first go into the menu to switch to English. Maybe I got the wrong version of the DVD? And there is no easy way to get right to the Bob the Builder episodes... we have to sit through the Wiggles and other preview stuff first.

What do bats, otters, badgers and a parrot have in common? They all get by with a little help form their friends--Bob and his can-do construction team! Wendy finds that Farmer Pickles' fence blocks the badgers' path to the stream, so she teams up with Bob to build a "badger gate" for them. Then Molly discovers a family of otters in the stream and comes up with a "mucky" solution to keep her new friends form being scared. Mr. Beasley provided a home for the bats in the belfry after his pigeons have flown the coop. Finally, Molly and J.J. are thrilled when Hamish the parrot needs a new home--their building yard is just the place for their new friend! Making friends and helping friends--it's all in a day's work!

(More customer reviews)This is flat-out false advertising on part of the producers of this DVD. It has NOTHING to do with Christmas or the holiday season at all, despite the cover graphics showing Christmas tree lights, holly, etc. Some idiot who obviously feels that a few cartoons which partly include skating or snow in them makes this a "Christmas" cartoon ought to be fired. Most of the cartoons on the DVD don't even have that.
I got ripped off purchasing this DVD believing what the cover represented would be the content of the material. Don't make the same mistake and avoid this DVD or video!!

(More customer reviews)My two year old is a big fan of Rolie Polie Olie and I must say that this movie was a lot better then The Great Defender of Fun movie. This is a more up beat, happy movie with some very cute songs and a very cute story line. It's a very retro new age way in cartoons with its' bright colors and wonderful characters! This is a very entertaining show. The only thing bad I have to say is that these cartoons are usually around ten to fifteen minutes in length and this is a lot longer for a child to sit through and may get bored. But for the older kids it would be fine.

Rugrats in Paris is a entertaining movie with jokes for everyone in the family, and slapstick humor from the begining to the end. But underneath it all is a touching story about how important family really is. It all starts when Chuckie finds the need for a new Mommie at Grampa Lu and Lulu's wedding. Everything then gets thrown into chaos when Stu's called to Paris when it Reptar Robot goes crazy. Brining along the family, and the rest of the crew they find themselves in EuroReptar World, a Japanesse theme park in the middle of Paris. They meet the evil Madame Coco whose sceme is to marry Chaz in order to gain control of a family loving company. They also become aquainted with her evil Henchman Jean-Claude, and the gentle Kira and her daughter Kimmy, who happens to be a female version of Tommy.
If you're a fan of family movies and the Rugrats. You'll love this.

Little Tikes Land Review

(More customer reviews)I passed this up the first time I looked at it at Target, but I'm so glad I bought it the next time. The box says for ages 2 & up and my son is only 14 months now, but he really loves these short movies and especially loves the little Cozy Coupe that came with it. There is suttle humor for the adults, too, without being too advanced for the kids. I think the music is real cute and fun, too without being annoying.
In the first episode you meet Lilly Tikes and L.T. (get it?:)) as they go on a pretend adventure with Rusty Rails the train. You learn that it's not always what is on the outside that matters as much as what is on the inside.
In the second, Cozy Coupe goes on his own adventure where he meets the big cars and trucks and he learns that even though his abilities are limited, he is happiest at being himself.
The third, Lilly and L.T. go on an underwater adventure and they teach Otto, the octopus, how his actions affect all those around him. The episode addresses being conciderate about the enviroment and to everyone around you.
The fourth episode is about L.T. and Lilly's search for Tubby, the bear, in the African jungle safaree. This one covers (very well, in my oppinion) asking permishion to use things that don't belong to you along with sharing and forgiveness.
The colors are bright and vivid and the music is fun and up-to-date. Each episode teaches valuable life lessons and (what I love most about these shorts) how easy and fun it is for children to play pretend. You can play one or all episodes at once and there is a sing-along option in the extras. I'm 100% happy with this DVD and I would absolutely buy more movies from the same creators. Hope this review helps.
