Thaw gives another excellent performance in this "cold war" thriller as a retired spy who is pulled into a murder mystery with international ramifications. It is set in contemperary times but feels like a good old espionage story with a new twist or 2.
There is even a fair bit of action sort of in the Secret Agent/Dangerman "realistic" spy mode. Well maybe a touch more realistic than that.
