(More customer reviews)I first saw this movie when it first came out in the early 80's at age 11 or 12 years old. I am now 29 years old and had began a internet search for this movie. I collect movies and am now focusing on some of the more favorable movies of my childhood to add to my collection. Without a doubt Fallin Angel was at the very top of the list.The movie was absolutely wonderful! Obviously to rank among my favorite movies a good 19 years later! This movie is one that many can relate to their own childhoods as far as problems and unhappiness goes. THis is the incredible story of one girl...and her life within a messed up home and childhood who got the attention she needed and desperately wanted at home from a softball coach. A coach that fed her need for attention and self confidence and led her directly into child pornography! ANY adult,mother,father, or child this age should definitely see this movie! As old as it is....it is still a very good story of the dangers that young girls face in the real world. Please get this movie! You will enjoy it and please let your young daughters see it to let her be aware of the dangers out there! Through this search I found that the star of this movie is now dead. Dana Hill...how sad. She had such a great future ahead of her and was so wonderful! Dana Hill will be greatly missed!

(More customer reviews)In 3 DVDs , for a very good price, you can watch the complete series of Playboy Wet & Wild : 10 titles, some unavailable, from 1989 to 2002.
These titles, in my opinion, are among the best of Playboy (a must for PB collectors): the playmates, as usual, are gorgeous, but there is a richness of cheerfulness, innocence, joie de vivre, lacking in more recent Playboy productions.

The Cheerleaders Collection (The Cheerleaders/Revenge of the Cheerleaders/The Swinging Cheerleaders) (1973) Review

(More customer reviews)The Cheerleaders must be one of the most heavily censored erotic films around (I know of at least 4 different versions).That's amazing, given that there is no hard-core activity or male nudity. It may be testimony to the sheer erotic intensity the film generates. This is the so-called "hard R" version, the original release print, and it looks great. Included is a stills gallery of "Cheerleader Cheesecake", including what appear to be the motel room audition photos, and some incredible pooside shots of Stephanie Fondue. Fans of this film will be well rewarded.
The film's reputation as an erotic classic stems from numerous things that lift it above its competition: the girls are lovely, sexy and young (they actually look like high schoolers, not srippers); the photography is clear; the editing allows the action to unfold without a lot of jump cuts; the humor is genuinely funny; and the film develops a steady rhythm by quickly moving from one erotic scenario to another. In short, it delivers on its promise to be arousing, and it never lets up. If you liked the shower scene in Porkys, here's a whole movie's worth.
Like any truly great film, this one created a genre of imitations, none even remotely as good as the original. The other two films in this package are interesting only as examples of that, despite the presence of Rainbeaux Smith (Drum) in both.
The package includes a booklet with a good essay by Gary Hertz. All in all, a classy presentation, and thank you to Anchor Bay for doing a first-rate job with a deserving film.

Bikini Summer (1991) Review

(More customer reviews)The film is everything I remember from the VHS edition I saw in the early '90s. If you are a fan of this genre, you have probably seen this movie, and understand what made it special, namely, totally gratuitous nude scenes that last for minutes on end. It's often like an extended naked music video.
Lamentably, the DVD appears to have been mastered from a VHS copy, or something similar, because the picture is not nearly as clear or sharp as any standard mainstream DVD release. It's not unwatchable, but it is disappointingly dim. The three star rating is for the DVD, not the film, although, to be fair, if you were to judge this film on everything but the girls, it would be considered terrible.

Revenge of the Nerds - Panty Raid Edition (1984) Review

(More customer reviews)There's just something about these comedies from the 80's that will always put a smile on the face of those of us who remember watching them for the first time back then, and hopefully, will also put a smile on the face of those of the younger generation who are discovering them now. "Revenge of the Nerds" is by far way up there among the better comedies from that decade. Sure, there's vulgarity here and there, but that doesn't take away from the humor and overall enjoyment. And one has to remember that the often un-politically correct aspect of many characters was common in the 80's.
And now this great film has finally gotten a DVD release that does it justice. The audio commentary by Jeff Kanew, Robert Carradine, Timothy Busfield and Curtis Armstrong is quite insightful and of course humorous, basically what one would expect. The "I'm a nerd, and I'm pretty proud of it" featurette has several of the actors talk about their experiences playing their roles. Nothing too spectacular, but definitely worth a look. The "Revenge of the Nerds" television pilot is certainly a nice feature, although mainly for novelty's sake. The 6 deleted scenes are "Stan Owes Nerd Money," "Gilbert Tells Judy How He Feels," "Tri-Lamb Vegas Convention," "Meet Uncle Meyer," "Chariot Race" and "Nerds Catch Jocks Destroying Their House." And finally, there is the trailer and a sneek peak of "Revenge of the Nerds 2: Nerds in Paradise." The DVD presentation offers a fairly nice transfer (a little grainy in some parts, which I suppose we can live with) and good sound quality-make sure to turn the volume way up for the Talent Show scene.
What else is there to say? If you're a fan, go out NOW and get this. Long live the Nerds!
And as a side note, the DVD insert has an advertisement for the "One Size Fits All" special edition of "Porky's," soon to be released. Be on the lookout for that too.
