(More customer reviews)Two cousins visit Italy for summer vacation. One is studious and quiet (Holly Sampson from Staying on Top), and wants to see the sights. The other (Amber Karney, better known as Chelsie Blue) is interested in wine, men and song, and wants to keep a video diary of her exploits.The outgoing one lands a local hunk the first night. When she gets out of the shower the nest morning, not only is he gone, but so is all of their money. The two end up taking a job as domestic help in a castle run as an inn that promises their guests true love. It is run by Catalina Larranaga (famous from Exhibitionist Files). Catalina tells of the origins of the castle, which was built by a prince for the gypsy woman he loved but was not allowed to marry. He was killed in battle, and she died of a broken heart. Since, the castle has been said to have magic, and has been run by the woman's descendants. Larranaga leaves the castle in the hands of the two girls.

The Cheerleaders Collection (The Cheerleaders/Revenge of the Cheerleaders/The Swinging Cheerleaders) (1973) Review

(More customer reviews)The Cheerleaders must be one of the most heavily censored erotic films around (I know of at least 4 different versions).That's amazing, given that there is no hard-core activity or male nudity. It may be testimony to the sheer erotic intensity the film generates. This is the so-called "hard R" version, the original release print, and it looks great. Included is a stills gallery of "Cheerleader Cheesecake", including what appear to be the motel room audition photos, and some incredible pooside shots of Stephanie Fondue. Fans of this film will be well rewarded.
The film's reputation as an erotic classic stems from numerous things that lift it above its competition: the girls are lovely, sexy and young (they actually look like high schoolers, not srippers); the photography is clear; the editing allows the action to unfold without a lot of jump cuts; the humor is genuinely funny; and the film develops a steady rhythm by quickly moving from one erotic scenario to another. In short, it delivers on its promise to be arousing, and it never lets up. If you liked the shower scene in Porkys, here's a whole movie's worth.
Like any truly great film, this one created a genre of imitations, none even remotely as good as the original. The other two films in this package are interesting only as examples of that, despite the presence of Rainbeaux Smith (Drum) in both.
The package includes a booklet with a good essay by Gary Hertz. All in all, a classy presentation, and thank you to Anchor Bay for doing a first-rate job with a deserving film.

Surprisingly strong plot for a film based on Virtual Reality.Virtual reality is a natural for softcore films, as anything can happen, including non-stop nudity and simulated sex, because VR is only limited by the imagination. For some reason, most of the couples erotica films based on this premise seem to be whodunnits, where someone dies during a VR session, and a detective must enter VR to catch the killer. This time, the victim is practically "Mr. VR," and the location is an exclusive Beverly Hills VR club. Detective Kate Rodger is assigned the case. She lives with her boyfriend and former partner who was shot and disabled in the line of duty, and her belief that it was her fault has made her unable to respond sexually to him. When she is forced to enter the VR world to look for clues in the victims past sessions, she is an easy target for seduction. Meanwhile her significant other begins to suspect that he should be jealous of VR. The film remains fairly tightly focused on Kate Rodger and her investigation and growing addiction to virtual reality. You might be also interested in the following Erotica titles:

Inside the Girls' Locker Room Review

(More customer reviews)In the first segment of this feature, eight girls, the winning team of a basketball game, enter a makeshift locker room and are interviewed about the game by a ninth girl, who later joins them in the showers. They get undressed as they are being interviewed, and then eventually head for the showers, where they wash their bodies and romp about. A sound track plays in the background as the camera concentrates on each of the bathers, paying especially close attention to their buttocks. The second segment involves several scenes, each one showcasing two girls taking turns in giving one another body rubs. The feature closes with the girls applying makeup, getting dressed, and exiting the locker room. The DVD includes one short bloopers segment and two "bonus" scenes, namely, two more body-rub scenes. Except for the interview and the bloopers segments, music plays throughout the entire feature.
The performers in this feature are young, and for the most part, cute. They seem to enjoy frolicking about in the buff, and most of them have nice bodies to flaunt. Unfortunately, however, the viewer doesn't get to see more than their breasts and butts: perhaps a flash of vulva in one or two instances, but even Playboy videos reveal much more. For admirers of female genitalia, this would be a big disappointment. Also on the minus side is the poor picture quality of the DVD. There is a good amount of pixelation evident throughout the feature, and the cameraman could use a lesson or two on how to focus properly: every once in a while the picture goes out of focus--and back in focus. Granted, this is an amateur video, but given its twenty-dollar price tag, one would expect better quality.
Overall this feature is entertaining, offering the viewer plenty of eye candy. But for the viewer who enjoys looking at the vaginas of naked women and who demands good picture quality from a DVD, this title simply doesn't cut it.
