The Erotic Adventures of the Three Musketeers (1992) Review

(More customer reviews)Not what I had hoped for to say the least! While I realize that this is Amazon and not hard core central, this film did nothing for me at all.
The 'sex' scenes were over way to quickly. There was way too little for-play and not much to the actual act either. There was female nudity, but no male parts (except for an occasional arse.) The implication of various acts was there, but they did nothing to heat the blood.

Still, if you want to see an 'ehh' movie with some humor and lots of naked lovelies and only 90 min...well, be my guest.

The Maid (2005) Review

(More customer reviews)Like a lot of the other reviewers, I'm a big fan of Asian horror of all kinds--I had overlooked this modest little film until now, but it was reasonably entertaining and, despite the occasional silliness, has a cohesive plot and some good effects. (There's a very brief moment when the shadow of a passing coffin falls over a young woman's face, which then contorts into the most terrifying expression I've ever seen. I don't know if it was CGI or not, but it's *really* creepy.)
It's not exactly non-stop terror and the young heroine's cluelessness occasionally gets irritating, but I still found it preferable to some of the earlier j- and k-horror movies that suffer from disjointed plots and ridiculous inconsistencies. Stylistically, it's much closer to the Pang brothers' Eye movies.

Nature's Colors (2009) Review

(More customer reviews)I was able to easily identify all of the classical masterpieces highlighted on this disc. The range of captivating nature scenes - from rainforests to mountains kept my attention throughout. The main menu was easy to use - the chapters were listed by song titles, not nature scenes. The picture clarity was stunning - there is nothing like nature in high definition. This is mother nature at her finest. A great investment.

Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus (2004) Review

(More customer reviews)This film was originally shown on the Hallmark channel in 2004 and I know it is being repeated this year. It's a sappy charmer but the best Christmas movies tend to be sappy charmers anyway and this one does a very good job. The movie stars Steve Guttenberg who had really kind of disappeared for a few years but seems to be making a but of a comeback even if it's not in A features.
Guttenberg is Nick, the son of Santa Claus. His dad is retiring and Nick is going to take over the job but before he can he has to find a Mrs. Claus. Now obviously this is same plot used in the Santa Clause 2 so while it's not terribly original, it's pulled off well for a TV movie. Anyway he heads to Southern California where he eventually meets Beth played by Crystal Bernard. He of coruse has to win Beth over and convince her to believe in Santa. Beth is a hard-working career woman, widower, and mother who has a son named Jake. She works for an ad agency and Nick actually plays Santa in commercials that the company does. Well of course you know how the film turns out, right?
Guttenberg is always a likable guy and brings a regular guy charm to his roles. Bernard is equally likable, always playing the nice girl. It's a good family picture. Hallmark had made a sequel called "Meet the Santas" which should be popping up any day now. As they say...check your listings!

Smoke Jumper (2008) Review

(More customer reviews)After proving that she's as strong as any man, scrawny 128 lb., former firefighter Kristin Scott (Burns) gets hired as a smoke jumper. The acting is mediocre at best. The film is mildly entertaining. Scott is at odds with her sister, who holds Scott responsible for their father's death. As soon as the sister announced her plans for going on a camping trip in the woods, I knew exactly what was going to happen. You will too. The plot is predictable. So is the syrupy-sweet ending.
If you're in the mood for a mild movie-of-the-week type flick that takes no thought or concentration, go for it. Otherwise don't bother. It's like eating soup when you really want meat and potatoes.

(More customer reviews)Hello I am 9 years old! And this movie is defintly for horse lovers in my age range! I saw it on tv and wanted it so bad!! I kept on looking for it and now is my victory!! It's about a girl who hurts her leg and moves to a moter home after her dad and her are in a car crash and she's hurt on her leg and the dad died! She found that there was a horse farm behind her house!! then she gets in a pen with a horse that nobody can handle ! The horse rears!(remeber she is on a crutch from her leg). The guy says get out kid you'll die from her!! Than the horse stops rearing and LET"S HER PET HER! It was a mericale! I cannot tell you the rest beacuse it will take away the suprise but I want to thank everyone who made and put this on tv! I loved it so much! I cannot tell you how much!! So I hope Sunny(the girl or acter) get's to live a horsey life! And ginger the horse live's long!!
Thanx a million! This is succcccccchhhhhhhhhhhhh a ggggrrreeaattt mmoovviiee!!
It brought me (a girl) and my brother come to sad and happy tears! It's a real tearpuller!!
