Female Masturbation Review

Female Masturbation
Average Reviews:

It's great. There are some awesome scenes in it. It looks like the real thing and not like the ladies are putting on a show for us. It's real like
they don't know we are watching.
Most of us guys would rather not see any other guys in a movie like this at all and there is that in the previews. But you can skip that when it starts by going to scene 4 on the DVD. There is a little more when they show short
scenes of what the ladies are thinking about. But it's short. It's a great
DVD.

Gigi, God's Little Princess: Gigi's Hugest Announcement Review

Gigi, God's Little Princess: Gigi's Hugest Announcement
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had a hard time knowing how to rate this. My daughter (2.5 years) loves this DVD and requests to watch it over and over again. My husband and I, on the other hand, have a love-hate relationship with Princess Gigi. The animation and voices are not the best, and they are actually quite annoying in some places. I've come close to sending Gigi off to live at a different house just so I won't have to put up with her anymore! Looking strictly at the production and quality of the DVD, I would give it two stars.
However... I do love the underlying message, which has been communicated quite effectively to my daughter. Without any prompting or encouragement from us, it's been ingrained in her that she is God's little princess, just like Gigi. Looking strictly at the content and message, I would give this four stars.

The Butch Factor (2009) Review

The Butch Factor (2009)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Gay and bisexual men long have used "butch" and "straight-acting" to judge the perceived masculinity, or lack thereof, of other men and their own masculinity. Such terms have provoked debate within the LGBT community; however, not everyone uses those terms...at least, not to mean the same things.
The Butch Factor delves into this ongoing struggle to identify what makes one more or less of "a man." Filmmaker Christopher Hines scoured the United States for examples of men who represent the masculine end of the gay spectrum. He found police officers, rodeo cowboys, actors and athletes who define themselves as more straight-acting and less effeminate than other gay men. They aren't all anti-femme, and their masculinity seems natural rather than an act.
Hines also interviewed a handful of less-masculine gay men for perspective and balance. For them, their effeminate characteristics are innate and not something they consciously adopted. They are some of the strongest characters in the film because they overcame the abuse they suffered as children for being gay while their more straight-acting counterparts could hide it. The Butch Factor ultimately reveals that long-standing social mores and gender stereotypes are more to blame for the prevailing desire for more masculine traits in a partner, even among gay men. While the movie doesn't settle many arguments, it is an interesting exploration of this enduring debate.

From the Castro culture of the 1970s to today s Bears and gym rats, this fascinating investigation of gay men and sexuality blows the lid off old stereotypes and showcases a battalion of interviewees including muscle men, rodeo riders, rugby players and cops. The men speak candidly on topics from homophobia to metrosexuality to embracing effeminacy as they reveal what it means to be a gay man in America today.

Death Hunter: Werewolves vs. Vampires (2010) Review

The longer you watch it, the better it gets. I realize this direct-to-video movie had a very modest budget, but this movie is surpringly well-cast and has a good group of solid lead actors.
After getting past the so-so opening 15 minutes, the movie starts to grow on you as you see the video crew put a surprising amount of effort into this.

Barbie Mariposa (2008) Review

Barbie Mariposa (2008)
Average Reviews:

My daughter waited for the latetest Barbie title, Mariposa only to be disapointed when it was released. The Butterfly Fairies are constantly being chased by creatures (Skeezites and a sea beast) which are trying to EAT them through the whole movie. There is also a Butterfly Fairy that betrays the queen and helps the Skeezites to try to eat all her friends. This is in a movie that is meant for little girls, I can't see how this was approved for release. This movie doesn't have the attributes of the other movies, it's too scary. My daughter keeps asking for us to "skip this part" because it's too scary. This movie only teaches our children they are too small and someone is always tryng to get them.

Barbie as The Island Princess Review

Barbie as The Island Princess
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I once heard a definition of integrity as something you are when nobody's watching. I also once heard someone comment that there must be no honor among filmmakers because apparently nobody in a high-budget production cared that the movie made was terrible. Well, I have to say, this movie is yet another shining example of the Barbie movies' integrity.
They could get away with SO much--they don't NEED to put a plot or characters or even any kind of acting into this, honestly. BUT THEY DO. The reason I pick this movie out of the crop is that (a) it was just released, and (b) it's a great example of the integrity that is so lost among high-end studio productions these days. Why? Think--what movie is similar to this? Can you think of any parallels? Especially in the Disney array? It's a movie with striking similarities to the Little Mermaid.
BUT, instead of making the heroine a selfish brat and saving it with appealing sidekicks and great music, the characters themselves are likable (or hate-able) and they DON'T have to make the person trying to marry the prince a creepy person either. It's so great! The music, as in the Princess and the Pauper, is shockingly good; the animation and visuals just keep getting better and better; and the storytelling and character development are far above the par of the so-called "best" of Hollywood today.
If you have already started collecting the Barbie movies, get this one too. If not, start right now! Little girls and you(!) will ACTUALLY enjoy them together. This is a worthwhile movie to see, as are the other Barbie movies. Even the weakest of them (story-wise) is morally strong and is better quality than most Hollywood fare these days.
Enjoy this film integrity!
